
The CompSAT Project (Comprehensive Substance Abuse Treatment Project) seeks to increase the number of 1917 clients receiving comprehensive care for substance use and mental health treatment.
The services are provided by coordinating medical, psychological, and outpatient and residential substance use services.
The CompSAT Project network of providers includes: UAB 1917 Clinic, Counseling and residential treatment facilities.
Staff at each facility have been trained to address the specific treatment needs of substance use among HIV+ persons.
Clients of 1917 Clinic are eligible to participate in the CompSAT Project. Patients can self-refer for this support service.
